Blue enamal abrasion test module

The blue module has been built to enable the conduct of two tests: abrasion of the enamel by grinding with powdered corundum and retention of the dye test that simulates the contaminant liquid.

Retention of the dye
The test provides for the release of a known concentration of dye in the basin of health. After a normal cycle of discharge occurs the solution concentration of dye remaining in the trap and you compare it with the maximum allowed. To facilitate the reading of the merger we have created a tool that allows the reading of the concentration of residual fluid directly from the software management to the machine interface touch-screen. The liquid remaining after the discharge cycle is taken and poured into a tube that is inserted into the instrument, and the software will provide the reading and evaluation of results.

Warning
Given the nature of pollutant salt solution used as colorant (see rule UNI997/2004), the water used for testing, will be collected in a separate tank, fitted with an exhaust pipe and faucet. Disposal of that water is to be made by the Customer.

Corrosion resistance
The test is to verify the resistance of the enamel due to corrosion of the sanitary to use of detergent powder and sponges that contain abrasives. The test simulates and accelerates the wear due to normal use, using a grinding wheel with powdered corundum. Using the management software you can control parameters such as speed of rotation duration and pressure of the wheel on sanitary. The abrasion will be assessed by an instrument called Glossmeter (optional).
