Flip-Flop

Operating modes

It is a power device, generating two pulses separated in frequency, allows a double acting cylinder or a similar pneumatic system to make the process of return.
Unlike a normal 5-way valve, which has two ( "14" and "12"), the flip-flop has a single point of command, from which the pulses are generated relative to both phases of the cycle cylinder. For the operation of the flip-flop is therefore a need to send a command signal, pneumatic or electric, to the point X, this signal generates a single pulse.

The flip-flop does not allow the repetition of the pulse generated, or it is not possible, enduring the control signal, to generate new impetus after the first (for this purpose is necessary to send a new signal). In order for the cylinder make a complete return should therefore be sent to the flip-flop two separate control signals.
In case of shutdown of the flip-flop due to an interruption of pressure you can restore normal function through the two manual reset.

There are two types of flip-flop:
cod. 10.035.4 The impulse is activated by a pneumatic signal sent to the point X. The pressure of the control signal may be different than that used to operate the cylinder.
cod. 10.018.3 The impulse is activated by an electric control.
